Meet the Reindeer, Sámi Flavors and Stories by the Fire
Step into the world of a Sámi reindeer herder and experience an authentic encounter with the reindeer. During this 3-hour experience, you’ll meet and feed the reindeer, try your hand at lasso throwing, enjoy a traditional Sámi meal inside a warm lavvu, and listen to stories about the herd, Sámi culture, and life in the Arctic.

Reindeer Encounter –
Short Experience
Join a traditional Sámi reindeer herder for a peaceful and authentic encounter with the reindeer. During this 1.5-hour experience you’ll step into the reindeer enclosure, feed the herd and finish with a warm drink and a taste of smoked reindeer meat by the fire. A genuine introduction to Sámi life and the reindeer’s Arctic world.

Reindeer & Sámi Flavors under
the Northern Lights
Experience a magical Arctic evening with Sámi culture, reindeer, and the Northern Lights. At twilight, you’ll meet the reindeer and take part in feeding them before gathering in a warm lavvu by the fire, with views of the night sky. The evening includes traditional Sámi tastes, drinks, and stories about Sámi life and Northern Lights myths.

Renrajd on the Lule River
Experience a magical 2-hour reindeer sled ride across the frozen Lule River, led by Sámi reindeer herders who share stories about life in the Arctic. As daylight fades and the winter sky opens up, you may even see the Northern Lights dancing above.

Events in the Heart of Sápmi
Celebrate, connect, and create memories under the Arctic sky. Our spacious lavvu (traditional Sámi tent) welcomes up to 120 guests — the perfect setting for conferences, weddings, or unforgettable gatherings surrounded by nature and reindeer. Combine your event with storytelling, joik, or Sámi handicrafts for a truly authentic experience.

Available: Winter season (December–April)
Group size: Up to 20 people (larger groups on request)
Clothing: Warm coats and boots are available to borrow - guests are advised to wear warm trousers
